Valerie – Stylist

Valerie graduated from Cosmetology School in Hollywood, Florida in 1994. She has had over 15 years of styling experience, and is certified and educated in over 10 different specialties (see below).

When asked why she chose the Mitchell Wade Salon Valerie replied, “Because they are everyone’s competition. Who wouldn’t want to work for the best salon?” She has both managed and owned a salon herself, and believes that the Mitchell Wade Salon functions as a well-oiled machine. She loves the energy as well as the consistency the salon has, and would trust any of the other stylist with her own hair needs. She loves that after years of experience, she still learns something new every day. Valerie knows that the Mitchell Wade Salon is truly where she belongs.

Valerie is a problem solver. She helps people work with what their hair is, to make it easier to manage. Her specialty is healthy sexy hair; short or long, curly or straight, blonde, red or brown—it does not matter, as long as it is beautiful. She is honest, and uses her experience and expertise to work with clients and their desired look. You will not leave until she feels your hair is perfect.

Valerie may love her job, but not as much as she loves her family. Her greatest accomplishment was having her children, and her family is her world. Her and her husband even built their house themselves (with a little help from friends and family). Valerie also loves boating, traveling, and the beach. She is a very happy, even tempered person, a neat freak, a perfectionist, very reliable, and a hard worker.
